The Mission
The mission of Connection Church LV is the same mission Jesus gave his followers: Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
The Vision
The vision of Connection Church LV is create a community of authentic believers and to witness a city transformed by the life changing reality of the gospel, as people come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
Our Values
P.E.A.C.E
Prayer - Our solemn address to God will consist of adoration, or an expression of our sense of God's glorious perfection, confession of our sins, supplication for mercy and forgiveness, intercession for blessing others and thanksgiving or an expression of gratitude to God forHis mercies. Prayer is our ordinary means to accomplish supernatural works. A healthy church/believer is one that has a continuous conversation with God the Father. (Philippians 4:6)
Equip/Equipping - This is a military term meaning to properly dress, to furnish with arms or a complete suit or arms. To furnish with whatever is necessary for a voyage. We look to equip ourselves, in order to equip others. You can not pour from an empty cup, so our cup must be poured into in order to pour out from. Discipleship is a form of equipping that is a primary work of Connection Church LV. (Ephesians 4:11-16; 2 Timothy 3:17)
Authenticity/Authentic -having a genuine original or authority, in opposition to that which is false, fictitious or counterfeit. Being true, being set, fixed and made a certain way by the Author. We at Connection Church LV will not wear masks in order to be seen greater than though. It is through trueness of character and behavior that impact and influence of the power of the Kingdom of God is placed on display. We will make God truly a BIG DEAL! (Romans 12:9; 1 Timothy 1:5; 1 Peter 1:22)
Community/Family -We within the body of Christ will be a Gospel revealing community. Unity is and has always been the plan God for believers. We glorify God by attaching people who would normally be apart by the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit. It is the unity of the Spirit in which unity of the body of Christ is accomplished. The body of Christ should display the width and the depth of God's love for each person walking the earth in which He created. (Matthew 5:46; Ephesians 2:11-16)
Excellence - Is such a valuable quality, meritorious virtues in a person. Purity of heart, uprightness of mind, sincerity, virtue, piety, uprightness of character, soundness and durability are traits that should be exemplified within the body of Christ. Although excellence may be deemed unobtainable to some, one must look at it as a standard of person. Jesus in His earthly ministry gave unto us a perfect and more excellent virtue of the wholeness of a person. This is the standard within this standard Connection Church LV look to the Holy Scriptures to display not a perfect or religious way life, but one that is sound and aligns with the Word of God. Our more excellent way is the way of Jesus Christ. (Proverbs 16:3; Romans 12:2; 1 Corinthians 10:31; Galatians 5:16; Philippians 1:9-10, 4:8)
